Public recognition is always a goal for the club. Decorating and riding on a patriotic float in the Frontier Days parade certainly accomplished that goal..

Join Us for Engaging Monthly Gatherings

We meet the third Monday of every month except July and December at our clubhouse located at 1306 Stetson Rd. Prescott, 86303. Each meeting features a presentation by a speaker on a timely topic or a performance by a local artist or group.

Fascinating programs are featured before each club meeting. One of the best offered a chance to meet Eden, an emotional support dog that works with the Prescott Police Department. Eden is trained to detect high levels of cortisol in people and give them comfort.

We are proud to be part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC), which is dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.

Yes, this remarkable women’s club was established in 1895, and as we continue to thrive, we welcome civic-minded women who are dedicated to community service and personal growth.

Prescott mayor Phil Goode praises club members for their community service.

GFWC Community Service Programs

GFWC Signature Program: Domestic and Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention

  • The goal of this program is to increase awareness of and help prevent the widespread occurrence of violence against women and children locally and globally.
Members often donate paper goods to Stepping Stones, a local domestic violence shelter.

GFWC Arts and Culture Program

  • This program encourages members to promote and support art and cultural programs in their clubs and
communities. Our goal is to create projects that include crafts, dance, drama, food, music, and other
manifestations of art and culture that develop skills, awareness, and appreciation.
The club maintains a Little Free Library for the benefit of neighbors near the clubhouse.
Memorial Day events that honor veterans often include Monday Club members.

GFWC Civic Engagement and Outreach Program

  • This program reminds members that each of us is part of a larger society. They highlight and
    encourage crime prevention, safety, and disaster preparedness; help for the needy, hungry, and homeless;
and support for our military personnel and veterans.

GFWC Health and Wellness Program

  • The human body, mind, and spirit comprise our health and wellness. To improve our well-being, we must address three key components: nutrition, disease prevention, and physical and emotional care.

GFWC Education and Libraries Program

  • We aim to help others, while we also continue to learn. Projects are designed to foster schools, as well as other educational institutions and opportunities. These projects promote libraries, literacy, and the love of reading.

GFWC Environment Program

  • This program encourages us to become conscientious stewards of the earth by working to preserve the world’s resources, protect wildlife and domesticated animals, live sustainably, beautify our communities and enjoy nature.
